This section of the crystal clear Current River is ideal for tubing. The river is the most spring fed of all the Ozark streams, alternating between slow moving deep holes of water and swiftly flowing shallow spots. Even in the late summer the Current has plenty of water for floating fun.

Although the river meanders by Big Spring RV Camp, the more adventurous can find swiftly flowing waters close by. Described below are our most popular floats to and from our campground at your own pace - not to meet some preset deadline.

Waymeyer to BSRVC - ($14 regular tube/$18 cadillac*) Approximately 7 river miles and an average of six to seven hours float time. This is a full day of floating.

Raft Yard to BSRVC - ($12 regular tube/$16 cadillac*) Approximately 5 river miles, there's plenty of spots along the way to make this a fun filled half day trip. Four to five hours average float time.

Big Spring RV Camp to Big Spring - ($10 regular/$14 cadillac*) Approximately 3 to 4 river miles. Average float time 2 to 3 hours. Perfect float that is the shortest of the 3 trips - great for first - timers.

For those of you who want to use your own vehicles for putting in or taking out, tube rental is $6 per calendar day.

* A canvas cover provides you will that "cadillac" comfort.
